pywin32-213 or 214 python2.7 cant install please help

I have been unable to install pywin32 build 213 or 214 for python 2.7. It keeps giving me an error that python 2.7 is not in the registry. I have verified it is in the registry from regedit and the weird thing is that I have installed py2exe and it found python 2.7 in the registry and it installed just fine. I would like to know if I could install it manually, I have unpacked the exe with winrar just not sure where to put everything. I have tried to put the files in the site-packages and the two .dll files (pythoncom27.dll, pywintypes27.dll) in with the python exe and couldn't register the .dll's. Well I don't even know if I'm on the right track, So any help would be greatly appreciated.
